Personal Statement
Having studied within an art and design discipline for 6 years I have learnt a wide range of skills in design and materials. My design skills have developed into many styles ranging from catwalk pieces to fine jewellery. I have a competent knowledge of Photoshop and illustrator and can produce paint ups using these programs. A background in fine art gives me an open-minded perspective to jewellery design. The designs I produce are innovative and unique and are made possible with my extensive range of manufacturing skills. I am confident working with many materials such as precious metals, wood, plastics and ceramics. My education in metal work and jewellery practices means I am capable of producing jewellery to a high standard.
